Effective May 2017, Datapoint now supports inline/software based feeds to the DTT Surveillance system.
This means there is no “y-cable” or feed off the receipt printer to embed important information on sales into the video camera feed – it is done over the network. This takes about 5-10 minutes to set up. We encourage anyone using DTT to take advantage.
Coming in August 2017 is the addition of theft watch tracking and other control information that will be automatically fed as well into your video feed.
